VW, Fifa, Tesco… Hardly a day goes by without another corporate or political scandal that damages reputations and destroys trust. As Warren Buffet told his own Berkshire Hathaway managers “We can afford to lose money – even a lot of money. But we can’t afford to lose reputation – even a shred of reputation.”

In a world of fragile trust, how do organisations build enviable reputations that protect their license to operate and turn a positive reputation into commercial success. Laurence Evans outlined to RSA Southeast recently a reputation building process that any organisation should follow, starting with credible actions and straight talking.
